The Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation, Mobility and Cooperation of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), through its International Relations Office, announces the call for papers for the next SOCIN 2025 CONFERENCE – ‘Rethinking Innovation: Inclusive Practices and Interdisciplinary Perspectives’. Once again, ERUA’s annual conference provides a platform to explore the theory and practice of social innovation.
The SOCIN 2025 conference will be organised under the auspices of ERUA and the Safina-Vitality project, coordinated by the University of Macerata. It will take place on 23-26 September 2025 in Macerata, Italy.
The SOCIN 2025 conference invites scholars, academics, practitioners, innovators and policy makers to rethink the very idea of innovation for the benefit of society and to explore inclusive, interdisciplinary and critical approaches that go beyond conventional paradigms. We encourage submissions that investigate the multiple dimensions of (social) innovation; the factors that are shaping the landscape of innovation and social change; the role of education in this field; how research can actively respond to changing societal needs, foster inclusive benefits and engage meaningfully with communities.
